McCarl's is seeking an AR Specialist to handle invoicing, payment application, and AR aging. You will collaborate with project managers and operations to resolve billing issues while maintaining accurate records in the ERP system.

The role emphasizes strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with cross-functional teams in an office setting. Experience with Viewpoint Vista or similar construction ERP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business, Accounting or related field preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years of accounts receivable experience or accounting data entry.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems that use a job costing module.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and issue customer invoices based on job progress, contracts or service completion.
• Maintain accurate billing records in the ERP system.
• Apply customer payments (ACH, check, wire, credit card) to accounts.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Communicate with customers on billing discrepancies or past due accounts.
• Assist with monthly billing cycles and reporting.
• Generate and distribute customer statements.
• Support collections while maintaining customer relationships.
