Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience; construction accounting experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with accounting software and strong MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Proven AR and billing experience; construction billing background preferred but not required; AP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Billing & invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices for completed work and coordinate with project managers.
• Collections: Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve payment issues with clients.
• Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate accounting records and file lien documents.
• Reconciliation: Record daily cash receipts, run aging reports, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Discrepancy resolution: Investigate and correct billing errors and respond to client inquiries.
