Job summary

Sargent Electric is seeking an Accounts Receivable Billing Administrator for our Pittsburgh, PA office. This role supports project accounting, customer invoicing, and collections to ensure timely cash flow across our electrical and specialty contracting operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of construction billing experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction billing.
• Associates degree or equivalent.
• Experience with project accounting and administrative policies.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data entry accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist project startup tasks as defined.
• Set up customers and jobs in the ERP system.
• Create and submit invoices to customers.
• Follow up on payments before deadlines.
• Compile payroll and waivers as required.
• Lead collections and customer payments.
• Maintain accounting records and project files.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in training and safety initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as delegated.
