Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the full AR cycle, including billing accuracy, timely cash application, and effective collections. You will monitor customer accounts, support reporting, and leverage ERP and Excel to provide reliable financial information.

This onsite role is based in Garnet Valley, PA, and offers a contract engagement with benefits and a focus on accuracy, collaboration with the accounting team, and process improvement across AR activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, and collections experience in a company with $50M+ revenue.
• 2+ years using cash receipts and applying payments to customer accounts.
• 2+ years using ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Workday, Dynamics GP or QuickBooks).
• 2+ years using Microsoft Excel with sorting, filtering, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs.
• Hands-on AR processes including billing, collections, and cash applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AR customer accounts and monitor activity to ensure timely payments.
• Take proactive steps on past-due balances and drive payment resolution.
• Apply customer payments accurately in the order management system.
• Manage billing to ensure invoices are accurate and issued promptly.
• Perform cash applications and apply payments to correct accounts and invoices.
• Create and distribute weekly statements for key customers.
