Job summary

Hogan Lovells in Louisville seeks a Conflicts Analyst to review new business and coordinate with Ethics Committee, attorneys, and firm departments to resolve conflicts of interest and business sensitivities.

Responsibilities include identifying conflicts, preparing engagement letters and waivers, maintaining the conflicts database, and assisting with training and research requests in a fast-paced environment. Core hours are 9am-5:30pm with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, analytical, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in identification and resolution of conflicts of interest.
• Coordinate receipt and documentation of engagement letters and client waivers/consents.
• Meet with Ethics Committee and senior staff to identify and resolve conflicts before new business.
• Prepare and implement screens/firewalls for new business as needed.
• Maintain and update the conflicts database.
• Assist with training of Conflicts Analysts and Juniors.
• Support research requests and other projects for the Conflicts & Compliance Department.
