Job summary

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader in Louisville, KY seeks a conflicts analyst support role within the Conflicts and Compliance Department to assist with identification and resolution of conflicts of interest for new business.

The position collaborates with Ethics Committee, attorneys, and departments, maintains the conflicts database, and supports training of junior staff; core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist firm attorneys in identification and resolution of conflicts of interest and prepare engagement letters and client waivers/consents.
• Meet with Ethics Committee and department leadership to identify conflicts and obtain approvals for new business.
• Meet with Executive Committee to identify and resolve conflicts of interest.
• Prepare and implement screens/firewalls for new business.
• Assist with maintenance and update of the conflicts database.
• Assist Manager with training of Conflicts Analyst Assistants and Junior Conflicts Analysts.
• Become proficient in using the conflicts database and business sensitivities.
• Assist with a wide range of research requests and projects as assigned.
