Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking an experienced Compliance (Conflicts) Analyst to join our US team. The role involves conflict-of-interest research, reviewing matter intake, and ensuring timely, accurate conflict analysis to support compliant client engagements.

The position supports a remote-friendly team across the US and requires strong research, organizational, and discretion skills. A Bachelor's degree and at least one year in conflicts or a similar analyst role are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• One year of conflicts or legal assistant experience required.
• Excellent oral and written business communication skills; international correspondence is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• Willingness to learn law and fundamental principles regarding conflict of interest issues.
• Ability to keep confidential information and firm matters confidential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct conflicts of interest searches and respond to lawyer/staff requests.
• Review information submitted by lawyers and staff for completion and accuracy.
• Research corporate history of clients and parties and corporate affiliations.
• Use Boolean searching to query the conflicts database and design effective searches.
• Summarize basis for potential conflicts and communicate to assigned lawyers.
• Collaborate with Compliance Lawyers to ensure accurate workflow.
• Attend the office as needed and maintain confidentiality.
• Provide exemplary client service to internal and external clients.
