Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to support the firm's risk management by resolving conflicts and drafting waivers, in collaboration with partners and counsel. The role covers New Business Intake, information barriers, and maintaining conflict records in the finance system.

This US-based position offers a hybrid schedule and can sit in any US office. Minimum two years' conflicts or intake experience in a law firm, plus a High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree and paralegal

Qualifications

• Experience writing and communicating in a business environment.
• Experience with intake and conflicts software preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.

• Ability to identify data integrity issues and resolve them.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, interprets, and summarizes conflict report results.
• Analyzes and resolves potential legal and business conflicts.
• Implements information barriers and ensures proper notification to affected personnel.
• Drafts formal email waivers and conflict waiver letters to document conflicts.
• Maintains conflict information in the financial database.
• Reviews new business intake forms to ensure accurate conflict clearance.
• Maintains internal conflicts database and documentation.
• Performs corporate research on all parties involved in new business requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
