Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to support the firm’s risk management by resolving conflicts of interest in new client and matter intake. You will draft waivers, implement information barriers, and collaborate with counsel to ensure proper clearance and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in conflicts or intake, strong business communication skills, and experience with conflicts software. Hybrid schedule; salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ direct experience in conflicts or new business intake within a law firm.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, interprets, and summarizes conflict report results.
• Analyzes and resolves potential legal and business conflicts.
• Implements information barriers and ensures proper notification to affected personnel.
• Drafts formal email waivers and conflict waiver letters to document conflicts.
• Maintains conflict information in the financial database.
