Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to support risk management by resolving conflicts of interest related to new client and matter intake. You will draft waivers, implement information barriers, and collaborate with partners to help bring in new business.

Ideal candidates have strong business communication, attention to detail, and research skills. A paralegal background is preferred, with at least 2 years in a law firm conflicts or intake role. Hybrid office arrangements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience writing in a business environment and presenting information clearly.
• Experience with intake and conflicts software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and summarize conflict report results.
• Analyze and resolve potential legal and business conflicts.
• Implement information barriers and notify relevant personnel.
• Draft email waivers and conflict waiver letters to document conflicts.
• Maintain conflict data in the financial database and related party notes.
• Review new business intake forms to identify conflicts and ensure accuracy.
• Conduct corporate research on parties involved in new business requests.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
