Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Compounding Technician II to join our team. Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will perform medication preparation and contribute to safe, accurate compounding operations in a clean room environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience, and a CPhT license. You will train and mentor junior technicians and support daily pharmacy workflow in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with internal and external customers.
• Ability to perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policy.
• Prepare medications for accurate compounding and dosing.
• Review compounded medications to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Ensure compounding and packaging are inspected and approved by a licensed pharmacist.
