Option Care Health is seeking a Compounding Technician II to assist pharmacists in a clean room, perform medication preparation, and ensure accuracy and safety in compounding operations.

The role emphasizes adherence to state regulations, quality checks, and mentoring junior technicians. A High School Diploma or GED and CPhT are required, with at least two years of pharmacy tech experience. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) must be licensed or registered where required by state.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic/intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policies and regulations.
• Prepare medications for accurate compounding.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Review and inspect compounded/packaged medications for quality standards.
• Ensure all compounding and packaging are inspected and approved by a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods, and calibrate equipment.
