Option Care Health in Nashville, TN is seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician II to assist pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing in a clean room, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, CPhT certification and state licensure if required, plus basic skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; duties also cover equipment calibration, log maintenance, and mentoring Technician I staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications in line with policy and regulations.
• Prepare medications accurately and perform basic pharmaceutical calculations.
• Maintain pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods clean; calibrate equipment and logs.
• Train and mentor Compounding Technician I
