What you will do

Responsible for selling Johnson Controls' complex security offerings to general contractors, electrical contractors, and consulting engineers. Promote our value proposition by providing business and technical solutions, with extensive knowledge in enterprise security and fire solutions such as Edwards EST, Honeywell, or Simplex Fire systems. Build long-term customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty, and position renewable service agreements as a foundation for ongoing accounts.

How you will do it
  • Sell, with minimal direction, Johnson Controls offerings persuasively and confidently to all members of the construction community, focusing on profitability and opportunity expansion.
  • Build partnerships with decision-makers in the construction community, actively listen, and understand customer needs to demonstrate technical and business expertise, earning trust and loyalty.
  • Identify and develop prospective customers, maintain industry contacts, and use the sales process effectively to match solutions to operational needs.
  • Address customer operational and environmental objectives, recommend solutions, and differentiate Johnson Controls through innovative sales approaches.
  • Act as the customer's advocate, ensuring they receive the best value, and participate in project inspections and training to maximize system utilization and customer satisfaction.
What we look for

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience selling enterprise fire and security solutions
  • Experience managing sales teams and working with Salesforce
  • Dedication to integrity and quality in business
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to influence at key market levels
