Role Overview

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales within a specific regional geography, focusing on new customer acquisition, customer retention, and growth opportunities with the current customer base. The role involves daily contact with current and prospective customers, managing opportunities, up-selling, and soliciting new business. The manager will work closely with the Inside Sales Team to support regional sales needs and drive market growth, with responsibilities including managing enterprise accounts within the region.

Responsibilities
  1. Establish productive relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts.
  2. Coordinate with company support, service, and management teams to meet performance objectives.
  3. Meet targets for profitable sales volume and customer satisfaction.
  4. Assess and clarify customer needs proactively.
  5. Achieve sales quotas and meet profitability expectations.
  6. Develop and execute customer account plans.
  7. Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
  8. Complete required training and development objectives.
  9. Maintain a sales pipeline with long-term growth actions.
  10. Travel internationally and domestically, including participation in tradeshows.
  11. Collaborate across departments to meet customer needs in various areas.
  12. Use CRM tools for account management and sales processes.
  13. Communicate with customers regarding shipping and requirements.
  14. Provide monthly sales and prospect reports.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of sales experience.
  • Strong experience in IT Security and/or Networking markets.
  • Experience managing complex customer accounts and indirect sales channels.
  • Highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Reside in the respective region.
Bonus Points
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of sales experience.
