Job Overview:

This individual is responsible for sales growth and daily management of Channel Partners in the Municipal Water & Wastewater Treatment sector while supporting existing Regional Sales Managers that manage Distribution in the Industrial/Food & Beverage market. This individual will also directly manage sales development of OEM's/System Integrators and Chemical Vendor customers. Candidate should possess an understanding of the Peristaltic Pump market and broad range of associated technologies.
Candidate shall be a technically inclined sales manager with strong business acumen who is accomplished in competing on value. This person is well versed in activities that influence purchasing decisions including product inclusion into written project specifications, the municipal bid process and negotiating orders among the aforementioned customer types.


Responsibilities:


  • Take ownership of and leading Channel Partners to success within regional territory.

  • Engage and provide commercial and technical support to Channel Partners to develop the opportunity pipeline and to convert the pipeline into revenue.

  • Develop strategic account relationships with Channel Partners and customer base.

  • Be the sales, commercial and technical voice to the region via regular sales calls, formal customer presentations, webinars, regional & local trade shows/conferences, etc. Must be comfortable working with various customer types such as myriad end users, consulting engineering firms, contracting firms, OEM's/System Integrators, Chemical Vendors.

  • Identify and participate in product training programs for Channel Partners and customers.

  • Continually evaluate Channel Partners and make strategic recommendations relating to potential changes in representation and market segmentation as might be required to meet regional objectives.

  • Utilizing the CRM tool, prepare order forecasts for project and base business.

  • Maintain and update channel scorecards, territory plans and forecast orders outlook



Requirements:


  • 5+ years of proven experience in sales with technical products to manufacturer representatives, distributors, and to end users.

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Fluent in English

  • Maintain a valid driver's license and passport for travel throughout the US and potentially Canada.

  • Technical expertise of peristaltic pumps and deep knowledge of their market applications.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of strategic account and vertical segment business drivers and purchasing behaviors.

  • Track record of success developing new markets and green field opportunities while driving acceptance of new technology.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to interface at all levels.

  • Strong written, verbal and presentations skills. Must be comfortable offering formal presentations to small & large audiences with strong ability to explain technical information.

  • Ambitious, enthusiastic and persistent.

  • Committed, engaged and reliable.

  • Achievement-oriented and willing to put a high level of effort to produce results in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Must be comfortable working in an environment that is dynamic and evolving.

  • Self-starter, ability to function independently without micro-management.

  • Open minded and eager to consider alternative solutions to common sales obstacles.

  • Demonstrated qualities of creative approach to problem solving and risk taking.

  • Ability to prioritize and work the necessary hours to effectively execute job responsibilities.

  • Proficient in computer related skills; Microsoft Office applications, CRM-Salesforce preferred.

  • Regularly maintain opportunities in CRM.

  • Responsible for accurate, ethical and timely handling of expenses.



Preferences:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business-Related

  • Experience in Peristaltic Pumps and other Metering Pump Technologies



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:


  • At least 55% travel required for this role



Pay Range:

The total pay range for this role, not including incentive opportunities, is $130,000-150,000. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
