MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Compensation Analyst to review pay change requests, maintain job matches, and support compensation programs. You will work with HR partners to develop career paths, analyze market data, and assist in annual pay planning while leveraging Power BI for metrics.

The role requires 1–3 years’ experience, a degree in business/admin/HR, and familiarity with HRIS systems. Location includes Denver, CO with hybrid/onsite expectations.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or other relevant area of study preferred.
• One to three years' related experience.
• Compensation and/or construction experience preferred.
• HRIS system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process all pay change requests in accordance with compensation philosophy.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to develop and maintain job family career path documents.
• Maintain and organize benchmark job matches tied to salary surveys and market data.
• Support development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.
• Provide compensation insights for labor studies to support IRA and non-IRA projects.
• Coordinate external compensation data collection and participate in 3rd party salary surveys.
• Work with department leaders on job evaluation, creation of job families, and salary survey matching.
• Conduct audits on job code builds and HR data.
• Support annual pay planning and merit increases; ensure timely data uploads into UKG.
• Research and analyze survey results to advise market competitiveness and pay trends for craft positions.
• Design and use BI for compensation metrics and present insights to leadership.
• Predict future craft compensation trends to support business objectives.
• Support incentive plan process as needed.
• Analyze effectiveness of compensation practices and recommend cost-effective changes.
• Provide guidance to leaders on pay decisions and policy interpretations.
• Assist in developing techniques for compiling compensation data.
• Other duties as assigned.
