Job summary

MasTec is seeking a Compensation Analyst to review pay changes, submit salary surveys, and audit HR data across multiple locations. You will maintain job matches, support compensation programs, and provide market insights for IRA and non-IRA projects.

The role emphasizes BI capabilities, collaboration with HR partners, and ensuring accurate merit increases while aligning with company philosophy.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or other relevant area of study preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Compensation and/or construction experience preferred.
• HRIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, track and process all pay change requests in accordance with company compensation philosophy.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to develop and maintain job family career path documents.
• Maintain and organize the company's benchmark job matches tied to salary surveys and market data.
• Support the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.
• Provide compensation insights for labor studies to support project proposal and estimating teams for IRA and non-IRA projects.
• Coordinate external compensation data collection and participation in 3rd party salary surveys.
• Work with department leaders on job evaluation, job family creation, and salary survey matching.
• Conduct audits on job code build information and HR employee data.
• Support annual pay planning cycle and merit increases by auditing data.
