Job summary

Sentara Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Compensation Specialist to partner with the Compensation team and HR leaders. You will analyze data, support market pricing, and ensure internal equity across the organization, contributing to annual compensation processes and continuous process improvements.

The role requires strong Excel and HRIS experience and offers a market-competitive base pay with potential bonuses. Remote work across several states is possible in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, analytics or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation analysis, market pricing, pay range administration, and internal equity reviews.
• Strong Excel skills: formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data analysis.
• Experience supporting Talent Acquisition with offer analysis and compensation recommendations.
• Experience interpreting and applying compensation guidelines to inquiries.
• Experience with HRIS and compensation planning tools (Workday & MarketPay preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct foundational to moderately complex compensation analyses and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Support offer development, market pricing, and internal equity reviews.
• Assist with annual compensation processes through data validation, auditing and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of compensation processes, tools and documentation.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation matters.
