Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a compensation analyst to review and maintain compensation change requests, prepare salary surveys, and analyze market data. The role includes auditing HR data, developing career paths, and building BI reports to guide leadership decisions.

The candidate will support pay planning, merit increases, and data-driven compensation trends across craft positions, working with HR partners and department leaders in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or other relevant area preferred
• One to three years’ related experience
• Compensation and/or construction experience preferred
• HRIS system experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Review, track and process all pay change requests in accordance with company compensation philosophy
• Partner with HR Business Partners to develop and maintain job family career path documents
• Maintain and organize the company’s benchmark job matches tied to salary surveys and market data
• Support the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs
• Provide compensation insights for labor studies to support the project proposal and estimating teams both for IRA and non-IRA projects
• Coordinate external compensation data collection and participation in salary surveys
• Work with department leaders on job evaluations and salary survey job-matching
• Conduct audits on job code build information and HR data
• Support the annual pay planning cycle and merit increases by auditing data in UKG
• Design, build, utilize BI for compensation metrics and insights
