Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Compensation Analyst within the Clean Energy & Infrastructure group to review pay change requests, analyze survey data and maintain job matches and career path documents. The role collaborates with HR Partners and leadership to support compensation programs and market intelligence.

Location: multiple U.S. sites including Indianapolis. Expect use of UKG for payroll, Power BI for insights, and ongoing data integrity across HR systems.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or other relevant area of study preferred.
• One to three years' related experience.
• Compensation and/or construction experience preferred.
• HRIS system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, track and process all pay change requests in accordance with company compensation philosophy.
• Partner with HR BPs to develop and maintain job family career path documents.
• Maintain and organize the company's benchmark job matches tied to salary surveys and market data.
• Support development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.
• Provide compensation insights for labor studies to support project proposals and estimating teams.
• Coordinate external compensation data collection and participation in 3rd party salary surveys.
• Work with department leaders on evaluation of jobs, creation of job families, and salary survey job-matching.
• Conduct audits on job code build information and HR employee data.
• Support annual pay planning cycle and merit increases by auditing data and uploading into UKG.
• Conduct research and analyze survey results to inform market competitiveness and pay trends for craft positions.
• Design, build and utilize BI software, such as Power BI, for compensation metrics.
