Job summary

Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital in San Francisco seeks a compassionate Client Care Representative to welcome clients and support our veterinary team. You will handle front desk duties, scheduling, invoicing, and basic data entry while ensuring a calm and informative experience for pet owners.

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary practice preferred but not required.
• Minimum two years of customer service experience.
• Familiarity with EVet hospital software.
• Computer experience (email, Word/Excel) for front desk tasks.
• Basic math skills for deposits and payments.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and effective client communication.
• Ability to distinguish emergency vs routine visits.
• Excellent communication with clients and team.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners in person and by phone.
• Admit patients ensuring weight and up-to-date information.
• Schedule, confirm appointments, and handle records and invoices.
• Process financial transactions accurately.
• Respond with compassion in stressful situations.
• Maintain a clean, stocked lobby and front office.
• Educate clients on wellness plans and products.
• Communicate with Nursing and Vet Team.
• Perform opening/closing procedures, end-of-day reports, deposits.
• Data entry for records and referrals.
• Distribute mail and route lab results to veterinarians.
• Opportunities to learn Veterinary Assistant skills.
