Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, and to serve as a clinical resource for staff and students.

This role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Requires Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, IL SLP licensure, BLS within 30 days, and ongoing continuing education on acute stroke care. Collaboration with pediatric PT/OT and documented care in EMR.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Illinois or eligible for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Commitment to continuing education related to acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages.
• Collect and integrate case history from patients, families, caregivers, and other professionals.
• Develop and implement a measurable plan of care and collaborate with patients and relevant others.
• Conduct assessments, select materials, and document care in EMR.
• Coordinate with pediatric PT/OT on treatment interventions.
