Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• Continuing education in acute stroke care must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Collects case history and integrates information from patients, family, caregivers, and other professionals.
• Conducts speech and language pathology assessments using appropriate materials.
• Develops and implements a measurable plan of care with goals.
• Interprets information to develop treatment plans and recommendations.
