Job summary

Avamere at The Stafford in Lake Oswego, OR, is seeking a part-time Server to provide exceptional dining service in a memory care/assisted living setting. You will take and deliver orders, serve meals, set up and clear tables, and assist with room service while maintaining high standards of sanitation and resident care.

The role requires friendly, professional demeanor, ability to learn kitchen equipment, and knowledge of dietary practices.

Qualifications

• Maintains high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintains personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Ability to learn to operate dining and kitchen equipment.
• Wamiliar with dietary practices and meal service needs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Promptly delivering food and beverages to residents and presenting them attractively.
• Provide attentive and friendly service, check on residents during meals.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear tables after meals and reset for next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents’ apartments.
• Know menu and dietary needs; answer questions accordingly.
• Interact professionally with residents and guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow all food safety, handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff for smooth service.
• Dispose of food and waste per policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
