Job summary

Avamere Living is seeking a part-time Server at Arete at Grande Ronde in La Grande, OR to provide courteous dining service in a memory care and assisted living setting. You’ll take orders, deliver meals, keep dining areas clean, and help residents enjoy their meals while observing safety standards.

Responsibilities include setting tables, room service delivery, menu knowledge, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintains personal hygiene while working on the job.
• Interpersonal skills to relate well with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Delivering food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Maintaining clean dining areas and assisting with setup before meals.
• Clearing tables and resetting them for the next service.
• Providing room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Answering questions about the menu and dietary needs.
• Collaborating with wait staff and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures.
