Avamere at The Stafford in Lake Oswego, OR is seeking a Part-Time Server to provide exemplary dining service in memory care, assisted living, and/or independent living settings. You will take orders, serve meals, and help with dining room setup and cleanup while maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards.

You will interact with residents and staff in a warm, professional manner, ensuring a pleasant meal experience and addressing dietary needs with empathy and care.

Qualifications

• High standards of food service sanitation and safety knowledge.
• Personal hygiene and hair restraint maintained.
• Interpersonal skills to work with residents and staff.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
• CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Food Handlers card issued by local health department.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and regulations in hospital/nursing home settings.
• Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Compassion for elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver meal and beverage orders to residents accurately.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring presentable plating.
• Provide attentive service and address resident requests during meals.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
• Clear and reset tables for next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Answer questions about menu and dietary needs.
• Interact professionally with residents and guests to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Collaborate with wait staff and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Dispose of food and waste per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
