Job summary

Everstory Partners in Detroit, MI seeks a Sales Counselor who helps families make funeral and cemetery decisions with empathy and clarity. You will meet with individuals, sell pre-need and at-need services, and build a sales pipeline through inbound leads, referrals, and community outreach.

Responsibilities include following up with inquiries, guiding purchasing decisions, using HubSpot CRM to track activity, and attending services as needed, with uncapped commissions or a guaranteed minimum

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, especially in Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• One year of sales or relationship-building experience is preferred.
• Experience with CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-ins; follow up throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and families; use HubSpot to track activity.
