Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living in Springfield, VA, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents. You will collaborate with caregivers and the clinical team to help residents feel safe, valued and at home, with a focus on quality, dignity and comfort.

Responsibilities include clinical duties under state guidelines, medication administration, infection control, care plan coordination, and updating records in the electronic

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia required.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience; 1 year preferred in assisted living.
• CPR/BLS certification required; training within 90 days if not current.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families with a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in line with state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote independence by teaching care goals and self-care skills.
• Monitor health status and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care team to provide routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in EMR and participate in care conferences.
