Job summary

GEMSTONE CREEKSIDE BUSINESS LLC is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to provide personal care to residents in a senior living setting. You will work within the Resident Services Department, reporting to the Wellness Director, and uphold our Residents First philosophy.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, dining, medications reminders, documentation, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. The role requires empathy, reliability, and teamwork in a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and respectful care for seniors.
• Ability to manage time with minimal supervision.

• Maintain professional appearance and attire.
• Positive, cheerful attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing duties.
• Background check is required.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively with Residents and staff.
• Six months of senior living experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including hygiene and ambulation.
• Help with housekeeping, laundry, mail delivery, and dining setup.
• Observe and report changes to Wellness Director.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist with medications or reminders as directed.
• Document incidents, rounds, and service plan updates.
• Keep Wellness Center and Breakroom clean and orderly.
• Report maintenance issues to leadership.
• Report to duty on time and avoid unauthorized overtime.
