Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old; waiver possible for 16–17 with requirements.
• Able to comprehend and follow instructions.
• No lifting/bending restrictions that would affect job requirements.
• Previous health care facility experience preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Criminal background check must be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assistant duties as assigned.
• Obtains resident information and reports to staff.
• Plans and prioritizes resident care activities.
• Provides light housekeeping tasks such as changing linens.
• Assists with laundry tasks as necessary.
• Performs daily hygiene procedures for residents.
• Demonstrates safe lifting, transferring, and ambulation techniques.
• Implements care needs including incontinence and positioning.
• Performs restorative care as instructed and assists with admissions/discharges.
• Maintains resident rights and follows infection control procedures.
