Job summary

Christian Care Living is seeking a Resident Care Aide to support residents in an Assisted Living setting. The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care, safe mobility assistance, and respectful communication with residents and families.

Key responsibilities include monitoring residents’ conditions, assisting with daily activities, documenting care, and collaborating with the care team while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Evening and weekend shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living regulations is required.
• Completion of required facility and regulatory training is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care.
• Observe and report changes in a resident's condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, mouth care, nail care and dressing.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility needs.
• Encourage residents to eat and maintain fluids and snacks.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks as assigned.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in trainings as required.
