Job summary

Christian-Care is seeking a Resident Care Aide to provide compassionate, patient-centered support in our Assisted Living community. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents’ wellbeing, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality service in a safe environment.

This role requires high school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification, and completion of required facility trainings. Night and weekend shifts may be required as part of resident needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living regulations or similar care environments.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Completion of facility and regulatory trainings including resident rights and infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility as needed.
• Support residents to participate in meals and activities.
• Maintain clean rooms, restrooms, and related duties.
• Communicate with families and participate in care planning.
