• Greets and registers patients; secures signatures and follows CHMG policies.
• Obtains and verifies insurance and demographics; educates on resources.
• Facilitates patient care between primary, specialty, and ancillary services.
• Welcomes and coordinates intake of patient information; creates and maintains medical records.
• Processes and routes incoming calls and responds to inquiries.
• Schedules and confirms appointments; promotes Patient Connect enrollment.
• Distributes mail, faxes and electronic desktops; educates on form completion.
• Supports a culture of patient-centered care.
• Works independently and within a team on projects and events.
