Job summary

ComForCare Home Care – Danbury is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to help seniors and adults remain independent at home in Ridgefield, CT and surrounding areas. No caregiving experience is required as training and support are provided.

Responsibilities include bathing, transferring, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and transportation when needed. We value reliability, compassion, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• No caregiving experience required; willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate.
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Transportation to appointments and errands when applicable.
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team.
