Job summary

ComForCare Home Care in Danbury is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support seniors at home in Pound Ridge, NY and nearby communities. No caregiving experience is required; comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided.

You'll perform non-medical home care, including bathing, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience is not necessary; all you need is a willingness to learn.
• We welcome Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate.
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable).
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team.
