Job summary

PCH Princeton Community Hospital is seeking a Hospital Transport Worker to move patients between departments and the Diagnostic Services Department. This role emphasizes safe patient handling, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to hospital protocols.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, CPR within 90 days of hire, and preferably completion of a patient care aide training program. The position is non-exempt and requires flexibility around shifts.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Successful completion of a patient care aide- training program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records of patient transport to and from D.S. Department.
• Utilizes RIS to properly check-in and check-out patients.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of IVAC pumps, drainage devices, catheters, restraints and oxygen tanks.
• Demonstrates proficiency with regards to stretchers/carts, wheelchairs, O2 tanks, transfer devices and personal protective equipment.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to communicate and provide a safe environment for infants, pediatric, Adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Education

High School graduate or equivalent

CPR certification within 90 days of hire
