Responsibilities

• Transport patients to all areas of the hospital; retrieve and deliver equipment, patient-transport aids, and supplies.
• Perform patient transfer on and/or off appropriate transport equipment.
• Complete cleaning tasks per OSHA; maintain and inventory equipment.
• Monitor and maintain transport system and schedules; document accurately and timely.
• Provide basic comfort, safety needs, and act as a patient advocate.
