Job summary

You will assist patients with check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and phone interactions, ensuring a patient-centered experience.

Responsibilities include patient registration, verifying demographics, posting payments, and communicating with patients about financial arrangements when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient duties: check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones.
• Assist with patient registration: collect/verify insurance info, update demographics in the system.
• Accept payments for physician/clinic services per guidelines.
• Post payments and enter charges using correct codes.
• Generate daily payment reports and reconcile cash drawer.
• Provide accurate patient, medical, financial or procedural information to patients or approved entities.
• May discuss financial arrangements with patients.
