Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Referral and Scheduling Coordinator 2 to schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures with specialists outside the primary care setting. The role includes communicating preparation instructions and coordinating with referring providers.

Qualifications

Less than 3 years of hands-on healthcare experience in a clinical setting, preferably within the Medicare population.
Proficient with medical terminology.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
Excellent professional communication abilities with patients and colleagues.
Role involves TB screening as part of the program.
Passion for improving consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

Schedules and pre-registers patients for exams and procedures.
