Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Referral and Scheduling Coordinator 2 to schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures with external specialists. The role involves moderate administrative work and customer support in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.

You will communicate prep instructions to patients and referring providers, interpret policy to complete assignments, and prioritize tasks within defined parameters.

Qualifications

• Less than 3 years of hands-on healthcare experience in a clinical setting.
• Proficient with medical terminology.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
• Excellent professional communication abilities, at all levels within the organization and with patients, at all times.
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
• willing to work in a high-volume queue
• willing to travel to facilities.
