Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Referral and Scheduling Coordinator 2 to schedule and pre-register patients for exams with external providers. You will gather patient data, communicate preparation instructions, and ensure accuracy while adhering to policy.

The role offers exposure to a TB screening program and a focus on consumer experience. Qualifications include up to 3 years of healthcare exposure, proficiency with EMR and MS Office, and strong communication skills in English

Qualifications

• Less than 3 years of hands-on healthcare experience in a clinical setting.
• Proficient with medical terminology.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
• Excellent professional communication abilities with patients and colleagues.
• This role is part of the TB screening program and requires TB screening if selected.
• Passionate about contributing to a consumer-focused organization.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures with external providers.
• Gather and communicate all information and preparation instructions to patients and referring providers.
• Follow policies with some discretion on prioritization and timing.
• Operate within defined parameters to meet quality standards.
