Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for WakeMed North in Raleigh. The role supports patient meals, menu selections, and tray delivery with a focus on safety and patient satisfaction.

The position requires 2 years of customer service and food service experience, with shift hours from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm; weekends may be required. Competitive benefits available with full-time status.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service and food service experience required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and HIPAA policies; maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on specific diets as needed.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel promptly and complete all required reports.
