Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. You will work on assigned units, assist patients with menu selections, and deliver meals with care and accuracy.

Requirements include prior food service, customer service, and dietary aide experience. Shifts are 12 hours with rotating weekends; online applications only. Pay ranges $17.00–$21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing for nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and preferences.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays from patient rooms on schedule.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP and facility policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on specific diets and nutrition plans.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports per Morrison policies.
