Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) roles at McDowell Hospital in Marion, NC. We offer full-time and part-time schedules; days and hours vary and weekend work is included. Training is provided.

You will help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and support the dietary team to ensure accurate orders and timely service. Prior hospital diet experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Aufgaben

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural or religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s selection, retrieving trays on schedule.
• Comply with federal, state, and JCAHO standards; follow HIPAA policies and confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining clean work stations.
• Assist dietitians by monitoring patients on specific diets.
• Communicate problems to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
• Adhere to health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
