Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for full-time work at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center in Matthews, NC. The role runs on a 6:30 am to 6:30 pm schedule, with days varying, and offers a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with care team to offer suitable menu options for allergies, cultural, and dietary needs.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and sanitation policies to ensure safety and confidentiality.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets and document daily activities.
• Prepare and file daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare.
