Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for the WakeMed North location in Raleigh, NC. The role supports patient meal services, menu selections, and timely tray delivery to ensure safety and satisfaction.

Qualified candidates will have English reading/writing ability, basic math and computer skills, and the strength to lift up to 100 pounds and move carts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies and preferences with caregivers and culinary team.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays in a timely, accurate manner.
• Follow HACCP guidelines, sanitation and HIPAA procedures.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate staff promptly.
