Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting (1–2 years).
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule imaging appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments; explain coverage details to patients.
• Monitor daily schedule, backfill cancellations to maintain efficiency.
• Serve as first point of contact for patients, answering calls and guiding them empathetically.
• Enter patient data into EMR and maintain up-to-date records.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Provide a warm, welcoming environment and address patient concerns professionally.
