Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to guide patients through admissions with accuracy and empathy. You will greet patients, verify insurance, process documents, and support scheduling to ensure a smooth visit across imaging centers.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicating clearly with patients and teams, and maintaining detailed records to support efficient operations and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service, patient access, medical office, or call center experience preferred
• Experience with scheduling, insurance verification, or healthcare registration processes preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with EMR/PM systems preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guide them through the admissions process across imaging centers
• Verify insurance and collect or process required documentation and payments
• Schedule appointments and support patient flow to minimize wait times
• Maintain accurate patient demographics, insurance info, medical histories and consent forms
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to address scheduling, billing and front desk issues
