Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Register patients promptly, typically within 15 minutes to maintain flow.
• Collect updated demographics and accurately code patient information.
• Explain deductibles, co-insurance, copayments, and insurance processing.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits; initiate authorizations when needed.
• Obtain signatures and assist patients with MSP questions and Medicare notices.
• Promote and explain MyChart advantages; encourage patient email sharing.
• Provide directions to the appropriate area and assist with backlogs as needed.
